Truro and Falmouth MP Sarah Newton has welcomed the news that South West Water will be investing over £140 million on service improvements and job creation, but has stressed that more needs to be done to protect low income households from water bills that have risen sharply in recent years.
Truro and Falmouth MP Sarah Newton is urging constituents to take advantage of the Government’s energy help scheme Warm Front, which offers low income households the chance to apply for free heating and insulation improvements.
Truro and Penwith College’s growing reputation for construction and engineering courses looks set to be enhanced, as it has secured £2 million of capital investment from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills.
